Growing up in a musical family, it's no surprise Joshua's passion for music developed at an early age; he quickly learned how to mix, showing signs of promise with precise mixing and epic track selection.
After DJ’ing on a regional radio station and with several block parties under his belt, he gained his first nationwide break as a teenager when he was crowned the National Champion of the BBC Radio 1 National Young DJ search. This propelled him further to frequent tours of the UK and later securing a residency with Ministry of Sound & Hed Kandi.
From here, Joshua has played regularly throughout Europe and the Middle East for globally recognised brands such as BBC Radio 1, Pacha, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, Privilege, Eden, Sankeys, Es Paradise, Project Zoo and many more. During the last decade or so on the decks, he’s also performed alongside Tiesto, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Fatboy Slim, Mark Knight, Sander Van Doorn, Deep Dish, Groove Armada, Don Diablo, Judge Jules, Danny Howard, Hannah Wants and Gorgon City to name just a handful.
These days, Joshua’s unique style is like no other: mixing, sampling, cutting, scratching, and drumming throughout his sets whilst retaining a solid groove and an unmistakeable identity. Catching him play live amounts to the perfect fusion of percussion; ample vibes, a sampler, two decks, a mixer, and an energetic guy from Norfolk.
Continuing his fairly glamorous London residencies as well as spending a bit more time in the studio of late – Josh’s already remixed Chocolate Puma and made a club smash with world-renown vocalist Angie Brown – he’s also joined London’s Select FM as Head of Programming and Marketing. Fitting in international appearances whenever he can, Joshua’s also looking forward to more tour dates still to be confirmed across Europe and the Middle East.
